Virender Sehwag is winning hearts on social media even though he is not playing for India anymore. His tweet during India vs Afghanistan gave fans a dose of nostalgia.
Indian team is playing against Afghanistan in their debut Test and after winning the toss, Indian skipper Ajinkya Rahane opted to bat first. After a quick 96-ball 107, Shikhar Dhawan's dismissal brought KL Rahul to the crease at number 3 and that made Sehwag come up with a witty tweet.
"Arson baad ek Rahul number teen par. #INDvAFG," wrote Sehwag. Here the former India cricketer subtly referred to India's 'Wall' Rahul Dravid. He was delighted to see 'Rahul' on the scorecard again at the number 3 position.

Other than that, it was also a memorable day for Sehwag as his record of scoring most runs in morning season got broken by Dhawan. Kings XI Punjab mentor, who had scored the maximum runs by an India batsman in the first session of a Test match (99 runs against West Indies in Gros Islet in 2006), was surpassed by Shikhar as he scored a ton.
Dhawan became only 6th batsmen in cricket history to score a hundred in the first season of a Test match.
