Afghanistan spin sensation Rashid Khan has proved his mettle in  White-ball cricket, not only in the International arena but in domestic T20 leagues across the globe. India is currently playing Afganistan in the latter's maiden Test and this is where Rashid Khan's real Test awaits him.

The 19-year-old leg-spinner went on social media to share a picture of his two-year-old niece, which shows how badly he is missing her as Rashid gets out to prove his potential in Test cricket.

The historic match has already begun at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday and unfortunately, the Test debutants could not make a great start to the traditional format as they managed to pick just one wicket with Indian looking ominous on Day 1. Rashid's SRH teammate Shikhar Dhawan scored a century in a session before lunch to get  India off to a solid start. As India looks to build on a good start expectations are increasing from Rashid Khan to deliver for his team.

Recently, Rashid revealed to Times of India about his relationship status, “I am not engaged yet. I am still single so far. My family is very supportive. I talk to them daily through social media. At least they are watching me and enjoying my game. This is just my initial stage. I need to focus on my cricket right now.”

He also revealed that what he does when he is stressed out, “When I am very stressed, I call my two-year-old niece. I just love talking to her.”

On the other hand, Rashid is World’s best T20 bowler at the moment and it will be a quite tricky challenge for the youngster to replicate that success in Test cricket.

Although, time will tell how Rashid Khan will tackle  Test cricket and what he brings to the table in the longest format of the game for Afghanistan.

Here is Rashid Khan's Instagram post.
