Afghanistan cricket team will make their Test debut against the top Test team in the world to embrace their arrival in the longest format of the game. India is going to play the historic Test match in the absence of their regular skipper Virat who is out for rehabilitation. During the IPL 2018, the captain had injured his neck due to which Ajinkya Rahane is going to lead India in the one-off Test.

On the other hand, Afghanistan has super talented spinners in the form of Rashid Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman who can single handily make things rough for the home team.

Shikhar Dhawan has played 29 Test matches for team India and hammered more than 2000 runs in this format. His form will be really pivotal for the team as he is one of the players to look out for.
