With right-hand batsman Hanuma Vihari revealing the chat he had with India 'A' head coach and great Rahul Dravid, a night before he received his debut cap from captain Virat Kohli at The Oval, famous commentator Harsha Bhogle has said that it was quite admirable and wonderful of the youngster to have sought guidance from his teacher.

Earlier, Vihari, who played a very substantial innings of 56 on Day 3, mentioned the call he made to Rahul, who is currently with the India 'A' side in Bangalore, having being told by the team management that he'll play the fifth Test.

Vihari at the end of Day 3 in the press conference said, "I called him (Dravid) the day before and told him I was making my debut, He spoke to me for a couple of minutes and it eased my nerves a little bit, because it’s coming from a legend and you know that you belong here."

"He just told me, 'You have the skill set, you have the mindset and the temperament, just go out there and enjoy yourself.' I'd like to give him a lot of credit because my journey with India-A has been important in my coming here." he added.

One of the features of Vihari's batting was his temperament at the crease and you can understand where that has been toughened up. Vihari has been part of 'A' setup for a while and it's a place where Rahul Dravid is shaping up, not just cricketers, but better human beings with his presence.

This is when Harsha Bhogle took to the social media network Twitter and appreciated the relationship that Vihari shares with Rahul.

"Wonderful to read of how Hanuma Vihari called Rahul Dravid the day before his debut." Harsha wrote, "That is what students do with good teachers. They share their joy. I am beginning to think Dravid's second innings might be as valuable to Indian cricket as his first."

He added, "Good teachers (in this case, coaches) are quiet, diligent, giving and find their success in the achievements of their students. They are comfortable with who they are."
