Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has been in supreme form and has also scored more than 550 runs in the ongoing five-match Test series against England, created another new record on the second day of The Oval Test match as he became the fastest batsman to reach the 18,000 international runs milestone.
Virat Kohli is the fourth Indian player after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Sourav Ganguly to achieve the milestone of 18000 runs in international cricket. Kohli took only 382 innings to reach the milestone and broke Brian Lara's record of 411 innings to complete 18000 international runs.
