ENG v IND 2018: Vijay Mallya seen entering The Oval to watch the fifth Test

Vijay Mallya is accused of not returning loans to the tune of 1.3 billion USD from Indian banks.

England batted first and scored 198/7 on day one. Alastair Cook scored 71 in the first innings of his final Test match before retirement and Ishant Sharma picked three wickets for 28 runs in 22 overs at the end of day one. He was well supported by Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah.

However, the interesting thing that happened on day one was before the start of the play and that too outside the stadium. On Friday, the 'King of Good Times' Vijay Mallya was caught by media attending the Day One of the fifth Test between England and India.

Vijay Mallya, who is currently on the run from the Indian police for defrauding 17 Indian banks to the tune of INR 9,000 crores or 1.3 billion USD. The Indian government is trying to extradite him back to the country from Britain, where he has settled down.

When the Indian press asked him for when he would return to India he said, "Enough is enough. You stand there, I stand here. How long would you like to stand? I am not giving any media interviews at a cricket game. You appreciate that."
