ENG v IND 2018: England announces playing XI for the fifth Test at Oval

The 5th Test will be Alastair Cook's final Test match.

England would also like to win the fifth and last Test of the series at the Kia Oval and give a fitting farewell to their leading run-getter Alastair Cook, who will be playing his 161st and final Test match. England at included off-spinner Moeen Ali and he picked nine wickets in the match and scored some important runs.

However, with Chris Woakes getting fit, there were chances of him being included in the XI, at the cost of a batsman.

But in the end, England Wales Cricket Board went with the tried and tested team that won them the series in Southampton. However, it seems like Jonny Bairstow’s finger has healed enough for him to take the gloves again.

England team for fifth Test v India: 

Alastair Cook, Keaton Jennings, Moeen Ali, Joe Root (c), Jonny Bairstow (w), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Stuart Broad, Jimmy Anderson.
