When Indian captain Virat Kohli scored his 6th run in his 46 runs innings against England in the Southampton Test, he completed 6000 runs in Test cricket and became the 10th Indian player to achieve the milestone of 6000 Test runs.

In terms of innings, Virat Kohli (119) is the second quickest Indian after Sunil Gavaskar (117) to reach 6000 Test runs.
