Team India was on the top of the world after an emphatic win over England in the third Test match at Trent Bridge. With this win, India gained a much important win in the series and lifted their spirits after the Lord’s debacle.

The BCCI had announced the squad for the Indian Team for the first three Tests of the series only and had said that the squad for the last two Tests will be declared at the end of third Test.

Given that the Indian team won the third Test and the performances by Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah came into notice. Captain Virat Kohli and Vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane also came good with the bat, while Pujara was back into his own groove.

However the best part of this win for India was the twin fifty plus opening partnership by Dhawan-Rahul; which instilled much confidence into the Indian team after the losses in the first two Tests.

BCCI, however, has decided to call up Mumbai's Prithvi Shaw and Andhra's Hanuma Vihari for the last two Tests. Shaw and Vihari, have been in fantastic form for India A and have plundered lots of runs both in England and at home against South Africa A.

Murali Vijay and Kuldeep Yadav have been dropped from the squad. Vijay failed in first two Tests and bagged a pair, while Kuldeep failed to make an impact with the ball in unhelpful conditions at Lord's.

Here is the squad for last two Tests:
