Trent Bridge has been a lucky ground for India whenever they have played against England. They won the only Test match here under skipper Rahul Dravid back in 2007 to win the Test series.

11 years later, Team India under Virat Kohli registered an inspiring win at the same venue to make a  comeback in the series. The Test match remains memorable for Rishabh Pant as well as he made his Test debut here and immediately went into the record books.

He became the fourth Indian wicketkeeper to take five catches on his Test debut. Plus he scored a gritty 24 in the first innings and was involved in a crucial partnership with Hardik Pandya ion helping the Indian first innings score cross the 300 mark.

Ahead of the start of the Test match, Pant was handed over his Test cap by none other than Indian skipper Virat Kohli amidst a rousing reception.

As it turned out, India won the Test match by 203 runs thereby making a comeback in the series. The series now stands at 2-1 with India now having a good chance of squaring the series at Southampton.
