ENG v IND 2018: "Feels really good to be up on the honors board," says Virat Kohli

Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli who is called as 'King Kohli' by his fans is currently ruling with the bat. He smashed his 23rd Test century and that got him into the honors board at Trent Bridge.

Virat scored 97 in the first and 103 in the second innings that ensured India dominate the third Test. 

Speaking about the feeling after being featured on the honors board, "Feels really good to be up on the honors board, especially when your effort is recognized in that way and the team has benefitted from it.

"Although these things don't really matter. It is just part of the tradition of the game. It is a nice touch for any player to recollect all the memories of what they have achieved in the different parts of the world."

"I'm really proud of that but more importantly as I said, it helped the team to a certain extent and I'm very happy about that," Kohli remarked.

India is on the verge to win the third Test. The bowlers have already dismissed nine English batsmen and looking to break the last wicket partnership between James Anderson and Adil Rashid on day 5. England was chasing a target of 521 runs and completely lost the plot after the top 4 were sent back way before team's 100-run mark.
