India is just one wicket away from a historic win at Trent Bridge Test match. On the fourth day, England ended on 311/9 and need 210 more runs on the last day while India needs only one wicket to win the third Test match.

In the morning, Ishant Sharma removed both the openers in his first two overs and Root and Pope also got out before lunch and England were reduced to 62/4 but Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes' 169 runs partnership for the fifth wicket pulled things back and Jos Buttler went on to score his maiden Test hundred.

After Buttler's dismissal, England collapsed and lost 4 more wickets for just 10 runs and was reduced to 241/8. In the end, Adil Rashid, Stuart Broad, and James Anderson put up a fight and took the match to the fifth day.
