Virat Kohli's flying kiss to Anushka Sharma

India skipper Virat Kohli may have missed a century by just 3 runs in the first innings of Trent Bridge Test but he returned even stronger in the second innings and registered his second ton (103) in the ongoing series and overall his 23rd hundred in the longest format.

With this innings, Virat also became India’s highest scorer as captain in Tests outside India as he surpassed Sourav Ganguly’s 1,693 runs. Kohli now has 58 centuries his name in international cricket.

Hitting centuries across all formats has become a cakewalk for Virat lately, but this one was special for the way he celebrated the landmark.

As Kohli steered a Chris Woakes delivery towards the third man region to complete the milestone, Anushka Sharma was seen applauding his hubby from the stands and the Indian captain responded by blowing kisses towards her.

Kohli also crossed the 400-run mark in this series, becoming only the second Indian captain after Mohammad Azharuddin (426) to do so against England. Overall, he is the sixth Indian batsman to achieve this feat.

Coming to the match, India declared their second innings on 352/7, setting a mammoth target of 521 runs for Joe Root and company in the fourth innings.
