Indian captain Virat Kohli is back to creating records in Test cricket. After scoring 97 in the first innings of the Trent Bridge Test against England, Kohli fulfilled his destiny to score yet another hundred against the team against whom his record away was abysmal coming into this series.
Kohli and Pujara kept the England bowlers toiling hard as they collected runs at a crawling pace. Pujara was finally dismissed for 72 by Stokes, caught by Cook.
But Virat Kohli kept going and was even given a chance by Jennings on 93. Kohli didn’t let the chance go to waste like in the first innings and completed his 23rd Test hundred. It was a record-breaking day for Kohli, as he pipped Mohammad Azharuddin in the list for most runs (426) by an Indian captain against England in a series in England. Virat now has 440 runs to his name.
Virat Kohli finally got out for a well made 103 off 197 balls with 10 fours to his name, as he was dismissed LBW by Woakes.
Twitter went into berserk mode as Virat Kohli brought up his brilliant century and showered accolades on him. Many former and current cricketers couldn't stop themselves from tweeting about this phenomenal player, who shut his detractors.

The exceptional rate of conversion continues. Makes a statement like a boss. Kohli scored 692 in the 4 tests in Australia in 2014. And looks like he will score in excess of that in the 5 tests here. What a turnaround after the difficult 2014 here. Stuff of champions.

Because they are exceptionally skilled they quickly cement their place in the team. This makes them very secure & confident. Finally, they want those things that every batsman wants, but they want it more desperately. That’s how batting greats like Virat get made.????????????????
