Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya stole the limelight with his game-turning spell at Trent Bridge. Before England could stretch their opening partnership from 54 to a big score, Indian bowlers, especially Pandya stunned them with a full-hearted effort.

Speaking in a video for BCCI.tv, Hardik revealed they came up with a plan to bowl it tightly in the post-lunch session which paid off for them.

Hardik also opened up about his comparison with former greats. Pandya doesn't want to be anyone. Speaking further about it, he looked tired of the comparison with ex-India all-rounders. The Gujarat born added that he never asked anyone to give him someone else's identity. Let him be 'Hardik Pandya', he is good in that and will try to contribute to the country being himself.

Pandya was heavily criticized by former Caribbean cricketer Michael Holding for his inability to perform as an all-rounder in Test cricket. Holding had even said that India should start looking for an alternative of him.

The reply from Pandya didn't come in words. He turned back to Holding with a five-wicket haul at Trent Bridge. India is currently in a commanding position after bowling out England on just 161. They are batting on 124/2 in second innings with a lead of 292.
