ENG v IND 2018: Twitter reacts angrily as Stuart Broad gives a foul mouthed send-off to Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant scored 24 runs in his first innings in Tests; got a sendoff from Broad after being dismissed | GettyEngland and India are playing the third Test of the five-match series at Nottingham and India owned the day one of the Test thanks to Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, and the openers.

Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul added 60 runs for the first wicket and then Virat (97) and Rahane (81) added 159 runs to put India in the driver’s seat on day one with India scoring 307/6.

India also had a debutant in this Test match with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant replacing Dinesh Karthik. Pant started his Test career with a second ball six and carried on merrily. India was finally dismissed for 329 runs with Anderson, Broad and Woakes taking three wickets each.

Rishabh Pant scored a good looking 24 from 51 balls when he dragged a wide ball from Stuart Broad onto his stumps and ended his innings. However, what followed next was very unsavory as Rishabh Pant walked away after being dismissed; got an earful from Stuart Broad.

Broad gave a foul-mouthed sendoff to Pant which can be seen in the following video.

This sendoff from Broad didn’t sit well with many cricketing fans and they targeted their anger towards Broad on Twitter.
