Indian batting unit is receiving a lot of flak for their flop show in England Test series. In the first two Tests, neither they succeeded in adding runs with a counter attack nor the batsmen could survive against English bowlers who were spitting venom.

Former India opener Virender Sehwag, who had criticized Indian batsmen for their poor shot selection, has said that the Indian batsmen should seek advice from Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly for some help.

Speaking to IndiaTV, he said, "The team management should have called up players like Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly on England tour as batting consultants as they have scored many runs there. Their experience would have benefitted the Indian batsmen."

India is on a verge of losing the series and they should try everything to make a comeback in the 5-match Test series. With three more matches to go, Virat Kohli-led India is capable of a fight back. We saw a glimpse of their potential against South Africa earlier this year.

VVS Laxman and Rahul DravidThe former Delhi batsman, Sehwag added how the failure of India's Test specialists has hurt them more. "Batsmen like Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane would have learned a lot from Dravid as they have a similar temperament," Sehwag said.

The 39-year-old himself offered to help players like Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul who have similar batting style as him. "I could have helped KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan as their playing style is similar to mine," he explained.

India will play their third Test against England on August 18 in Nottingham. A few changes are expected in the playing XI. Jasprit Bumrah is likely to return after a thumb injury. There are talks of Rishabh Pant's inclusion in the side as well.
