Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar was spotted napping during the third day’s play of the second Test between England and India at Lord’s.

Arjun, who gave Virat Kohli and other Indian batsmen a much-needed practice to counter the left-arm angle ahead of the Lord’s Test, was seen lying just outside the boundary line behind the advertising boards.

The incident brought back the memories of India tour of Sri Lanka in 2017, where MS Dhoni also opted for a power nap during the third ODI at Pallekele after the game was disrupted due to crowd’s misbehavior.

Meanwhile, England continued their domination over India in the Lord’s Test. After bowling out the visitors to a mere 107 on the second day, the English batsmen piled on the agony and ended up scoring 357/6 at stumps on Day 3.

England wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow put on a match-defining 189-run stand with Chris Woakes for the sixth wicket. Bairstow scored 93 runs before Hardik Pandya dismissed him in the last session while Woakes recorded his maiden Test ton from 129 balls.

Woakes is still unbeaten at the crease on 120 along with the hero of the first Test, Sam Curran, as England stretched their lead to 250 runs at stumps on Day 3.
