If you are on the micro-blogging site Twitter, you would know outrage on almost every second thing is the norm and it keeps the platform alive. It was the lunch menu of the Indian team on second Test's third day which irked the Twitterati this time.

The official Twitter account of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a picture. "A well earned lunch for #Team India," tweeted BCCI.

What provoked the fans was beef on the menu. There was already so much unrest in the country over it.

What the outrageous Twitter users couldn't understand that including beef on the menu doesn't make it necessary to serve.

Talking about the day's play, it was totally dominated by the hosts. Till the lunch, India was well in the game dismissing four English batsmen on just 89. But still it turned out to be a horrific day after Jonny Bairstow and Chris Woakes put up a huge partnership. Bairstow scored 93 and Woakes 120*, making him only 10th cricketer to be added in the Lord's honor board for both batting and bowling.

England has taken a lead of 250 and that means the Virat Kohli side will look to play for a draw and avoid an innings defeat when they walk out to bat.
