ENG v IND 2018: Another green top pitch at Lord's awaits the Indian team in the second Test against England

India had last won the Test match here against England by 95 runs in 2014.

The first look of Lord's pitch was shared on social media where India and England will be up against each other for the second Test. After a close loss at Edgbaston India has a lot to work on their week areas.

First Test gave us a good battle between bat and ball. The batsmen who had patience and focus had added runs but it was mostly bowlers game and both the sides managed to pick all 20 wickets.

Back in 2014, the mecca of cricket Lord's had gifted India a win. It was a green top pitch back then. India was helped by Ajinkya Rahane's ton and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 6/82. Ishant Sharma's match-winning spell of 7/74 sealed the deal for India.

This time again the pitch looks green in the picture and bowlers may get assistance. The heat waves there may also play a trick to bring spinners into the play.

Interestingly, in the last five Tests, England played here against Asian teams, they have not won any. The hosts lost 2 games against Pakistan, one against India and drawn 2 against Sri Lanka.
