After T20Is and ODIs, it's time for India to lock horns against England in a 5-match Test series. The first Test will be played from August 1. But before the series begins, India will play a four-day practice match against Essex at Chelmsford.

Ahead of the practice game, Indian pacers Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Shami were accompanied by Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin, and Cheteshwar Pujara on the flight to London.

Bumrah is recovering from the thumb fracture he suffered during the Indian team's 1st T20I against Ireland. There are chances that he may sit out for the first Test as there is no update about his injury yet.

Another senior pacer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has suffered an aggravated lower back condition which ruled him out of the first 3 Tests.

Bowler to watch out for India will be the experienced Ishant Sharma. The pacer played county cricket in England after being kept aside from IPL. He picked up 15 wickets playing four matches for Sussex.
