England Test pace bowlers, James Anderson and Stuart Broad are recovering well from their respective injuries and are expected to be fit in time for the first Test against India at Edgbaston starting from August 1.

Earlier Stuart Broad had played an annual charity match for practice before heading to watch the final of Wimbledon between Novak Djokovic and Kevin Anderson. The right arm bowler has had three injections in his left ankle since the second Test against Pakistan in June.

Broad will only play the first Test match against India if he is fully fit for the game. Meanwhile his bowling partner, James Anderson took two wickets for Nottinghamshire in the county championship against Surrey cricket.

Both the players have together taken 957 Test wicket to in their cricketing history. They will be the key players of England against India as they have been the top Test bowlers.

Anderson will play in the Roses match next week to prove his fitness for the India opening Test at Edgbaston.
