Former Indian cricketer, Murali Kartik was all in praise of MS Dhoni after the veteran wicketkeeper reached 10,000 runs in ODI cricket against England in the second ODI match at Lord's. Murali Kartik took Twitter to congratulate MS Dhoni on his big achievement. While praising him  Kartik wrote- “Everyone talks about @msdhoni batting no. 6 & getting so many runs, does it mean our top order was fragile, no, but what the great man has done or shown not to the fans but to the team itself is the rock solid belief that whatever be the RR required I will hunt it regularly LEGENDARY.”

Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the 12th player to slam 10,000 ODI runs joining Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid among the Indians in the list. After his innings of 37, he became the second wicket-keeper batsman to achieve this feat after Kumar Sangakkara. 

During the first innings, MS Dhoni also became the first wicketkeeper to take 300 ODI catches. England was a better side in the second ODI game against India as their bowlers restricted the visitors by a margin of 86 runs.
