Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan was all in praise of MS Dhoni after the veteran wicketkeeper reached 10,000 runs in ODI cricket against England in the second ODI match at Lord's Cricket Stadium. Irfan Pathan took Twitter to congratulate MS Dhoni on his big achievement while praising him Pathan wrote-“Dhoni’s achievement scoring 10,000 ODI runs makes it so special and rare as it came playing dual role. Being wicketkeeper and scoring that many runs I wonder how many will be able to achieve that milestone #matchwinner #legend”

MS Dhoni became the 12th player to achieve this feat and the second wicketkeeper after Kumar Sangakkara. Irfan Pathan was quite impressed with Dhoni's achievement as being a wicketkeeper and getting over 10000 runs is next to marvellous.
During the first innings, MS Dhoni also became the first wicketkeeper to take 300 ODI catches. Thus Irfan rightly stated that being at the top of one’s game with two key roles is not something we’ve seen very often at the highest level.
