MS Dhoni is creating records left, right and center nowadays. After completing 300 catches in ODIs, MS Dhoni also became the second wicketkeeper to reach 10,000-run mark in ODIs during the second ODI against England at Lord’s.

MS Dhoni is now the fourth Indian after Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid to reach the 10,000 runs milestone. He is also the second fastest to reach the milestone in terms of balls faced, after Sanath Jayasuriya of Sri Lanka and fifth quickest overall, despite being a lower order batsman.

His fellow cricketer Harbhajan Singh was in awe of MS Dhoni’s milestone and congratulated him on Twitter. Harbhajan also highlighted Dhoni’s ability to score runs from the position he bats in the XI.

Harbhajan, who played with MS Dhoni in the recently concluded IPL 2018 for champions CSK, wrote on Twitter “Congratulations @msdhoni for 10000 runs in 50 overs cricket.. great achievement.. keep shining. batted at the most difficult position 5/6 where he mastered how to score runs and win games.”
