England pace bowler, James Anderson has come forward and stated that Kuldeep Yadav who has been performing so well in the series against England will be a great threat for the home team in the Test matches, starting from August 1 at Edgbaston. The pace bowler of England feels Kuldeep Yadav is a great asset for India and can continue to perform in the Test matches as well.

In the first ODI against England, Yadav recorded his best ODI figures of 6 for 25 becoming first Indian left-arm bowler to take six wickets. Yadav since the start of this tour has been spectacular as he has already clinched 11 wickets.

“It’ll be a huge test for us if Kuldeep does play in the Test series. I have always found that the white ball is a bit easier to pick with mystery spinners,” he said while analysing the match on BBC.

“I remember Muralitharan and with the black seam on the white ball, you could kind of pick it up. But with the red ball, it is a lot harder so I always used to play Murali off the pitch – and it didn’t really help too much,” Anderson added.

The first Test match between England and India will take place at Edgbaston, Birmingham with the last Test match to be played at Kennington Oval, London.
