England and India faced off in the third and deciding T20I match in the Bristol to see who pockets the series. With India winning the Manchester T20I and England pulling back by winning Cardiff one; this match will prove to be the winner of the series.

India won the toss and rightfully elected to field first. India made two shocking changes in leaving out Bhuvneshwar Kumar due to a stiff back and dropping Kuldeep Yadav. Deepak Chahar made his T20I debut for India and Siddharth Kaul came in as replacements.

England had a blistering start as Jos Buttler (34) and Jason Roy (67 off 31 balls; 4x4s, 7x6s) went after the Indian bowlers from the start on a ground which had shorter boundaries on the sides. Alex Hales (30) and Jonny Bairstow (25) kept England going and finished up at 198/9 in 20 overs.

India’s best bowler was Hardik Pandya who picked 4/38, despite going for 22 runs in his first over. In the process, MS Dhoni became the first wicketkeeper to take five catches in one T20I match and added a run out to his dismissals as well.

India did well to keep England below 210 on a small ground and a good pitch to bat on.

Twitterverse was relieved that India managed to pull the scoring back and showed their expressions on Twitter.
