Alex Hales (58*) and bowlers helped England to level the 3 matches T20I series against India as the hosts beat the visitors by 5 wickets in the second T20I match at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff.

England after winning the toss asked India to bat first and their bowlers ran through Indian top order and reduced them to 22/3 in the 5th over. Captain Kohli (47), Suresh Raina (27) and MS Dhoni (32*) helped their team to put a respectable total of 148/5 on the board. In response, England also lost quick wickets and at one stage they were reduced to 44/3 but Alex Hales was solid at one end and played a composed inning of 58* runs and helped his team to get over the line.

1 - For the first time ever Suresh Raina got out stumped in T20Is. This was the 77th match of his T20I career. 

5 - England has won all the 5 T20I matches they played at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff - the most wins at a venue without losing a match in T20Is.

7 - With this defeat, India's winning streak of 7 T20I matches came to an end.

20.6 - Virat Kohli's T20I batting average in 2018, he has scored only 103 runs in 6 innings with the highest score of 47 this year so far. 

58* - This was Alex Hales' first fifty in T20Is since May 2014 (66 vs Sri Lanka) and after 22 T20I innings. 

150 - Yuzvendra Chahal became the 10th Indian player to take 150 wickets in T20 format. He took 131 matches to achieve this feat. 

500 - This was the 500th international match of MS Dhoni's career. He became the first wicketkeeper in the world and overall third Indian player to achieve this milestone.
