Former England Captain, Michael Vaughan had a rough time over the social media network Twitter recently for angering the Indian Cricket Team fans over a sarcastic comment he made on Virat Kohli's men.
India made a fantastic start to their long tour of England when on Wednesday, July 3, they handsomely won the first T20 International at the Old Trafford in Manchester. Led by Virat Kohli, India first restricted England to a modest total of 160 in their 20 overs through some classical wrist-spin by Kuldeep Yadav before KL Rahul hit one of the most amazing T20 hundreds you would see, to take India home.
England led by Eoin Morgan arrived into this match as favourites, especially after their exploits against Australia, against whom they inflicted a 5-0 ODI whitewash before sending them back home without a win by hammering the visitors in the lone T20I match, but the Indian team made heads turn with a scintillating performance.
And, this prompted Vaughan to tweet, "Kuldeep Yadav is causing absolutely chaos ....... The Indians are a little bit better than the Aussies ....... #ENGvIND"
To which he got nasty replies from the fans.
England have big hitters of the cricket ball.*

*Wrist spin not included.
Only little bit????????????????????
Vaughan then clarified his affinity for the Indian team by posting another tweet, which read, "Just realised India did to England what England have just done to Australia over the past few weeks !!! Looked more mysterious and very very well organised ...... I am now officially concerned about the Indian White ball team ... #Kuldeep #ENGvIND"

But it had no real effect and trolling continued.

The incident reflects the nature of the social media world these days.
