England speedster, Tom Curran has been ruled out of England's T20 and ODI series against India due to a left side strain injury. Earlier the right-arm bowler was expected to play after Tuesday's opening match but now as he is out of the team, he will not play for England in the upcoming T20s and ODIs.
Earlier Tom Curran came in as a replacement for Mitchell Starc of Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2018, he played 5 matches for them with taking 6 wickets at an economy of 11.9.
Tom Curran has been replaced by his own brother, Sam Curran who is now been added in the T20 and ODI squad. He will now commence his rehabilitation programme at the Kia Oval under the supervision of Surrey and England's medical teams.
