After annihilating Ireland in the just concluded two-match T20I series, Team India are all set to start their England tour with a T20I affair at the Old Trafford, Manchester on Tuesday (July 3).
Ahead of the blockbuster contest, veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has revealed his India playing XI. Harbhajan feels India must have KL Rahul in the team but not at the expense of well-settled openers – Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. The offie wants Rahul to bat at No. 5.
“I feel Shikhar and Rohit should open the innings. Virat Kohli should bat at number three while in-form Suresh Raina should bat at number four. At five, it should be Rahul and MS Dhoni at No. 6,” Harbhajan said while speaking to Aaj Tak.
Bhajji selected Hardik Pandya as his premier all-rounder in the playing XI while he picked Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav as main bowlers in the team.

Ideally, India would have gone with same bowling attack. However, with Bumrah now being injured, the team management would have to go with either Umesh Yadav or Siddharth Kaul. Bumrah’s replacement is yet to be announced by the BCCI.
