ENG v IND 2018: Injury scare for England ahead of India series

The five match Test series between England and India will begin from August 1, 2018.

England will be facing India in a full series at home starting 3rd July, 2018, when the two teams face off in a 3 match T20I series. It will be followed by a series of 3 ODI matches and finally from August 1, England and India face each other in the ultimate test of 5 Test matches.

England will be relying heavily on its fast bowlers to take to the Indian batting might of likes of Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul and others. Bowlers like James Anderson, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad and Moeen Ali will be planning to tackle the Indian batting lineup.

Speaking of bowlers, England got a big injury scare as Stuart Broad injured his ankle during the Nottinghamshire- Worcestershire match at Trent Bridge. Broad was able to bowl in only the first session due to his ankle injury. Broad left the field as a precaution.

32-year-old Stuart Broad has picked 417 wickets in 118 Tests with a best of 8/15 against rivals Australia.
