Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar spent some time with Team India’s chief coach Ravi Shastri in England on Monday (June 25). Arjun received valuable tips from Shastri as the veteran coach was seen delivering a pep talk to the 18-year-old during a training session of India’s senior team.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, BCCI’s official page posted the pictures of Arjun and Shastri with a caption stating: "Words of wisdom from @RaviShastriOfc for young Arjun Tendulkar."

Shastri, who departed for the all-important England tour with Team India members on Saturday (June 23), also shared the picture of himself with Arjun on Twitter.

“Good to see the chip of the old block going through the right paces - @sachin_rtRavi wrote in the caption by tagging the legendary Sachin Tendulkar.

Earlier this month, Arjun Tendulkar was named in the India Under-19 squad for the tour of Sri Lanka. In the past, Arjun has also represented Mumbai’s under-14 and under-16 teams. However, he grabbed eyeballs when he gave an injury scare to England wicket-keeper batsman Jonny Bairstow during the net-session at Lord’s in July last year.

In contrast to his father, Arjun is more fascinated towards fast bowling and he often spotted in the nets rolling his left arm. During the 2017 Women’s World Cup in England, he was seen bowling to the Indian women’s batter in the nets.
