The Indian team reached London to start their tour to Ireland and England. India touched down in London in order to prepare for the two T20I matches against Ireland scheduled on June 27 and 29.
Virat Kohli led Team India will then play England in three T20Is and three ODIs in the month of June and then will come the big battle of five Tests starting from August 1. India had lost the five Test series 1-3 when they last toured England in 2014 under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, won the ODI series and lost the sole T20I match.
Virat Kohli has a lot to prove on this tour, thanks to his dismal record in England with 134 runs in 10 innings in Tests. This time though, he is also leading the team and will have extra pressure on him to lead from the front.
Indian team settled in the hotel and hit the gym straight in order to get themselves in the cricket mode.
The BCCI shared some images of the Indian players touching down in England and then hitting the gym.
