Indian skipper Virat Kohli undoubtedly ranks among the finest cricketers of the modern generation, if not the very best. Kohli is adored and admired by masses all across the globe and it can be seen from his presence in a particular country or within the stadium. However, his popularity in India is something that grab the headlines every second day.
On Saturday (June 23), Virat along with his India teammates head off to the all-important England tour. Before taking the flight, the Indian captain showed his kind gesture as he put smile on a little girl’s face by clicking a photograph.
Taking to Twitter, the BCCI posted the picture with a caption: “Little Radha wanted a picture with #TeamIndia captain @imVkohli and the smile on her face tells the story.”

It is worth mentioning here that Kohli had opted to play county cricket for Surrey before the England tour. However, his county stint came to a halt after he suffered a neck strain during Royal Challengers Bangalore’s last match against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2018 on May 19.
Considering Virat's batting feats in the last 5 years, there is a plenty of expectations from him on England tour. Even though Kohli has conquered more or less every condition with his willow, he has not been able to perform at his best in England. With just 134 runs in five Test matches at a dismal average of 13.40, doing well in England is a top priority for the India captain.
In their UK trip, India will play two T20Is against Ireland in Dublin on June 27 and 29 before heading off for the all-important England tour. India’s tour of England will kick off from July 3 where they will play three T20Is and as many ODIs before featuring in a five-match Test series from August 1.
