In order to improve the track record on English soil, India’s limited-overs specialists have already started their preparation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) Bangalore.

India’s much-awaited tour of England will kick off from July 3 where they will first feature in three T20Is and as many ODIs before participating in a five-match Test series from August 1.

As per the reports in Sportskeeda, Manish Pandey, who is in the squad list for the T20Is, was sweating it out at the NCA nets on Tuesday (June 19). Accompanying Pandey was the legendary wicketkeeper batsman MS Dhoni, who will have his fourth England tour on this occasion.  

Reports further suggest that wrist-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and uncapped medium-pacer Siddarth Kaul were also present at the NCA in Chinnaswamy. Dhoni had a discussion with Chahal and Kaul before observing Manish closely.

Sandeep Sharma, who represented Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2018, made a late entry to the practice session and bowl to Pandey as Dhoni took off his pads and stayed close to the nets.

Manish and Dhoni also practiced with India's throwdown expert Raghavindra, who peppered the session with his accurate throws. Team India's physio Patrick Farhart was also present at the practice area before making his way back into the NCA.
