Virat Kohli-led Indian Cricket Team are all set to leave for England soon to play a full series and former Indian cricketer and renowned cricket commentator, Aakash Chopra, has come up with his latest take on the national Test squad as to who is the best and should be featured in all Playing XI with his latest video.

However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced a well-built and strong squad for the limited overs' series but is yet to announce the Indian Test squad for the 5 match Test series.

With Test squad to be announced soon, many Indian cricket greats have disclosed their combinations of the team, keeping in their mind India’s struggle in England way back in 2011 and 2014.

Recently, Chopra has joined the bandwagon to reveal his favorite batsman for the England Tests and he is none other than KL Rahul.

A video shared by himself on his Twitter handle, Aakash has termed the young better Rahul as the second most gifted Indian batsman after Captain Virat Kohli and believes that the 26-year-old should be given the opportunity to play all matches of the five-Tests series against England.

The commentator can be seen saying in the video, “KL Rahul has to play almost five Test matches in England because he has the special ability to take the games away from the opposition. I rate him as the second most gifted player in the team across all formats after Virat Kohli.”

However, the right-hander failed to convert his half-centuries into big scores since hitting his last Test century (199) against England in Chennai in 2016 and even Chopra also admitted that Rahul will have to address the same to be in contention for the England Test squad.

He signed off by saying, “Rahul, since his last ton in the format, has played 12 Test matches and has not crossed the three-figure mark. He has scored runs consistently but has not converted it into a big one. He has managed 10 scores of over 50 in this period but the fact he is getting out after his half-century is a matter of concern.”

Noteworthy, Rahul managed to earn a spot for himself in both One Day International and T20I Indian squad for England tour next month thanks to his sizzling show with the willow in the IPL 2018, but whether he will make it to the Test squad or Playing XI, it will only tell time.

Here is what Aakash Chopra said in his Twitter video.
