PSL 2020: All-round Multan Sultans thrash Karachi Kings by 52 runs

Multan Sultans hosted Karachi Kings in the 10th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Friday (February 28).

Asked to bat first, Sultans rode on dazzling half-centuries from Moeen Ali (65 off 42 balls) and skipper Shan Masood (61 off 42 balls) to pile up 186/6 in 20 overs.

Mohammad Amir (2/27) and Chris Jordan (2/29) were the pick of the bowlers for Kings.

In reply, Karachi got bowled out for 134 in 17 overs. It was a disappointing batting performance from the visitors as none of the batsmen managed to touch the 30-run mark. Alex Hales was the top-scorer with 21-ball 29.

For Multan, Imran Tahir (3/28), Shahid Afridi (2/18) and Sohail Tanvir (2/20) did the bulk of the damage with the ball.
