Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell played a flamboyant innings against Brisbane Heat and smashed 83* runs in just 45 balls. His innings helped Stars to win the match by 7 wickets in the 30th match of the Big Bash League.

Maxwell crushed the opposition as he hit one boundary and seven sixes in his innings. The Aussie batsman also became Melbourne Stars' all-time top run-getter in BBL after the innings.

New Zealand's Jimmy Neesham was impressed with Maxwell's shots. He reminded the destructive batsman that even small sixes can give him equal runs and he doesn't need to put the ball 26 rows back.

"You know it’s still 6 if it just creeps over the rope, right @Gmaxi_32 ??? No need to hit them 26 rows back ????????????," he wrote on Twitter.

Soon, a Twitter user asked him to share advice for bowlers. On which, Neesham wrote that bowlers just need to hope Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) picks them up. The Kiwi doesn't have to worry as both the cricketers will be playing for KXIP in Indian Premier League.

"Get picked up by @lionsdenkxip and you don’t have to bowl to him ????," he wrote. 

Maxwell was picked up for Rs. 10.75 crore at the IPL 2020 auction and Jimmy got sold at Rs. 50 lacks.
