Ravichandran Ashwin, Vijay Shankar and Washington Sundar have been named in Tamil Nadu’s probables list for the upcoming Vijay Hazare Trophy, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) revealed it through a press release on Sunday (September 8).

It would be interesting to see whether Ashwin and Sundar actually feature at the domestic level considering their international commitments against South Africa at home.

The Tamil Nadu side will be led by veteran campaigner Dinesh Karthik, while former Tamil Nadu all-rounder D Vasu is the coach of the team.

Apart from TNPL star C Hari Nishaanth, the probables list also includes out-of-favour India players Murali Vijay and Abhinav Mukund.

Tamil Nadu is placed in the Group C of the tournament along with Bengal, Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Railways, Rajasthan, Services and Tripura.

The 50-over competition begins on September 24 and runs until October 10.
