The May 26 warm-up games of the ICC World Cup 2019 were marred with rain, as the Pakistan v Bangladesh match at Cardiff was abandoned as persisting rains didn’t even let toss happen.
Over in London, South Africa v West Indies match, the rain kept pouring in after Jason Holder won the toss and chose to bowl first. However, rain interrupted twice, first reducing the match to a 31-over affair out of which 12.4 overs were possible and Proteas smashed 95 runs with Hashim Amla making 51* in 46 balls and Quinton de Kock making 37* in 30 balls.
The next two matches on May 27 will see Australia take on Sri Lanka and England take on Afghanistan.
