Although Mumbai was doing well in the tournament, Rahane is having a time. In 6 games, India’s Test vice-captain managed to register the scores of 11, 0, 1, 31, 4 and 11.

In Rahane’s absence, in-form batsman Shreyas Iyer will lead the Mumbai side. Mumbai are slated to play four games in the Super League round. While they face Karnataka on March 8 and Delhi the next day, they play Vidarbha and Uttar Pradesh on March 11 and March 12 respectively. The final is scheduled to be held in Indore on March 14.
