WATCH: Cheteshwar Pujara refuses to walk out even after nicking Abhimanyu Mithun's delivery

Pujara is playing for Saurashtra in the semifinals of Ranji Trophy against Karnataka.

Saurashtra batsman Cheteshwar Pujara was not given out even after he nicked one behind in the hands of wicket-keeper. But he remained unmoved and refused to walk after umpire didn't raise his finger.

The incident happened between the ongoing semifinal of Ranji Trophy 2018-19 between Saurashtra and Karnataka.

Abhimanyu Mithun, the Karnataka bowler was very upset with the decision. Initially, after the noise, he was convinced of getting the priceless wicket of Pujara, the umpire wasn't convinced, however. Whole Chinnaswamy Stadium was silent after erupting into joy. They were stunned by the decision.

The incident happened in the 23rd over of Saurashtra’s innings when Pujara was batting on just 1 run.

Earlier in the Ranji Trophy quarter-final, Pujara failed with the bat and scored just 11 runs before getting dismissed by Uttar Pradesh speedster Shivam Mavi. In the second innings, he added an unbeaten 67 to help Saurashtra defeat Uttar Pradesh by six wickets.
