Jharkhand’s head coach Rajiv Kumar has finally confirmed that MS Dhoni will not be turning out for his home state in the knockout rounds of the ongoing domestic One-day tournament the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018/19.
MS Dhoni, who was found short of form with the bat in England limited over series and the Asia Cup 2018, was touted to play for Jharkhand, after having being named in the Indian squad for the first two ODIs against the West Indies.

With selectors also picking Rishabh Pant in the squad, everyone thought there would be an added pressure to do well on Dhoni with the bat and he might gain some hitting time playing for Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare trophy.
However, all those hopes have been quashed and MS Dhoni will be seen playing for India against West Indies.
