MS Dhoni to join Jharkhand for the knockout stage of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018

Jharkhand topped their group and will play their quarter final game on October 15.

MS Dhoni will play in knockout stage of Vjiay Hazare Trophy for Jharkhand

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is set to feature in the knockout stages of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 for Jharkhand. MSK Prasad, BCCI's chief selector informed that Dhoni is ready to take part in the ongoing 50-over domestic tournament.

Being in top two made sure that Jharkhand qualifies for next stage from Elite Group C. Their Quarter Final game will be played against Maharashtra on October 15 in Bengaluru.

The last time Dhoni played for Jharkhand was in 2017 where his state team lost against Bengal. Not only Dhoni, but even Rohit Sharma will also be available for selection for Mumbai.

BCCI recently announced the Indian team for the first two ODIs, which starts from October 21, and both the bowlers are in the squad. If teams of any of the player, Dhoni or Rohit, qualify for the final of Vijay Hazare Trophy, which is on October 20, they won't be able to take part.
