CWC 2019: Female Streaker tries to invade pitch during England-New Zealand final at Lord’s ground

New Zealand won the toss and chose to bat first.

Security personnel detain a pitch invader | GettyThe England and New Zealand ICC World Cup 2019 final at the Lord’s ground saw some excitement when a female streaker tried to invade the pitch during New Zealand’s innings. Kane Williamson had won the toss and chose to bat first and both teams went in unchanged.

In a moment of chaos, a scantily dressed woman attempted to invade the pitch.  The woman wore a black outfit which read 'Vitaly Uncensored' in white lettering, tried to storm the pitch early on in the match.

The woman was later revealed to be the mother of Vitaly Zdorovetskiy. In May, Zdorovetskiy’s girlfriend, model Kinsey Wolanski had caused an interruption during the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham, as she ran across the ground in a bid to promote Zdorovetskiy’s adult website.

The match saw Henry Nicholls scoring 55 and Latham scoring some vital runs as New Zealand tried to put up a fighting total on the board, as Liam Plunkett picked 3/42 in his 10-over spell.
