ALEX CAREY- 8/10

Australia has found a gem in Alex Carey. Not only he is extremely good behind the stumps but is great with the bat as well, and though the team realized that sending him up the order was a good thing, a little late; it worked nicely for them. Carey has definitely put himself in contention for the upcoming Ashes series.

AARON FINCH- 8/10

Aaron Finch must be proud of the way he led the team in the tournament. He was amazing with the bat making 507 runs with 2 centuries to his name, including the highest score of 153. His captaincy was very good and he used his resources to the optimum. Finch led from the front and his batting was one of the reasons Australia made it into the knockouts without many problems.  

STEVE SMITH- 6/10

Steve Smith’s comeback may not have been as great as Warner’s, but he did well for himself. 379 runs in 10 matches with four half-centuries can be termed a good haul for the former Australia captain, and his innings against England and West Indies were one of the grittiest ones seen in the World Cup.
