CWC 2019: Team India thanks the fans for their constant support during World Cup

India lost just two matches in the whole tournament.

Indian cricket teamThe Indian team had started the ICC World Cup 2019 as the favorites to lift the title being the no.2 ranked team going into the tournament and gained the no.1 spot after England lost three matches in the event.

However, their journey came to an end after New Zealand defeated India in the first semi-final at Manchester and crushed the hopes of more than a billion people. Despite the unfortunate ending to their campaign, the Indian team members made their country proud with their performances in the tournament.

Rohit Sharma became the first batsman ever to make five centuries in a single World Cup edition, while Virat Kohli scored five consecutive half-centuries. Jasprit Bumrah enthralled everyone with his amazing ability to get the batsmen out anytime he wanted and proved that he was the best bowler by far.

The players took to Twitter and thanked the fans for their support to the team throughout the World Cup and we have some tweets.
