Bangladesh had a very good ICC World Cup 2019 than what their standings on the points table suggest. They registered some big wins against top teams and took other heavyweights right down to the wire.

Most importantly, a legitimate star made his presence felt in the tournament as Shakib Al Hasan slammed over 600 runs and picked 11 wickets, having a performance of a lifetime in the World Cup. However, other senior players barely managed to register their importance in such a big event and the likes of Mehidy Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Soumya Sarkar failed miserably to rise up to the occasion.

Mustafizur Rahman was the only bowler to shine for the Tigers, as he got some support from only Mohammad Saifuddin. Rubel Hossain, though experienced, couldn’t bring his A-game. However, the biggest disappointment was Mashrafe Mortaza, their leader, and captain, as he failed to perform with the ball or the bat. His captaincy skills didn’t warrant him wasting a place in the XI, but his stature in Bangladesh cricket meant that he played all the games.

Here is Team COC Players Rating for the Bangladesh team in the ICC World Cup 2019.
