India skipper Virat Kohli has been on a record-breaking spree with the bat since last few years, but he hasn’t made any impact with the ball. Some of you might be thinking it’s for the lack of effort but the fact is Kohli has not bowled in international cricket since December 2017.

However, the India captain never restrained himself from showing his bowling skills at the nets. Ahead of India’s all-important World Cup 2019 semi-final against New Zealand in Manchester on July 9, Virat was seen imitating his go-to fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah's bowling action.

In a video surfaced on social media, Kohli didn’t only mimic the action of Bumrah but also emulated his trademark wicket-taking celebration with open arms.

Here’s the clip:

Jasprit Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker for India in this World Cup with 18 scalps to his name. He has been lethal with the new ball and nailed his yorkers to perfection in the death overs in all the matches.

Bumrah gave India a perfect start in the semi-final against New Zealand by dismissing opener Martin Guptill for jus 1. The marquee clash, however, was suspended due to persistent rain in Manchester on Tuesday (July 9). Play will continue on the reserve day (July 10) with Black Caps resuming their innings at 211/5 in 46.1 overs.
